Being from Canada, it always frustrates me how our gas prices keep changing from one day to the next. One day their relatively low then bang…the next day they shoot up again. Unfortunately they can get away with this, as they know everyone needs to purchase gas and they have no choice but to pay the price.
I’ve been doing some checking and have discovered that even people in the US are having the same problem with their gas prices. It’s too bad that everyone around the globe can’t just boycott the entire gas industry until this all settles back down to one low price.

After months of looking for a pattern for a knitting afghan, a friend of mine was finally able to come up with a book that had some really nice patterns. It wasn’t excatly like the one I had before, made half the pattern and then lost, but it was suitable for my needs. I learned to knit years ago, but becuase I couldn’t find a pattern I liked, I have not knit for a couple of years now. So, I was exptremely disappointed in myself to discover that I couldn’t remember even the basics of knitting. (not the knitting and pearling stitches, thank heavens).
So, I went right on the Internet to find some directions. I was very happy to have found a forum that answers all the basic questions to do with knitting, and I didn’t even have to make a post to find out all the things I needed to know. Thank goodness for the Internet or I would be sitting here with another project I could not finish. So, the GREAT news is that I have started this new pattern, and thanks to the good folks on the internet I may actually be able to finish it (as long as I don’t loose this pattern as well, lol).
