Lifes Like That

I was checking out some of my friends blogs from over the weekend, and it was nice to see that other people out there are just as busy as I am, but they always manage to find the time to get everything done that needed to get done.

Jesse wrote about her busy weekend over on her blog and how she was able to get so much done. If you face this problem as I know most of us do, why not check into this read and see how she was able to get this done.

Yesterday afternoon while I was sitting at my computer (which I do a lot lately), I saw a mouse!! Needless to say, I’m not scared at the critters, but I would rather they not be in my home. Of course, any time I tried to catch him (I don’t want to hurt him), he ran under the stove. My cat actually hid under my chair for my protection. lol

The children on the other hand tried to catch him. They wanted to keep him as a pet. I’m sure some of us when we were children wanted to do this as well. NOT! But no one could catch him. So, at bedtime, they made him a little spot in front of the stove that he could come out and into to to relax. The most priceless area of this little spot that had my husband and I laughing for hours was my six year old son’s “Welcome” mat.

So, although “mousie” was not welcome by my husband myself or the cat, he was most certainly welcome by the children and encouraged to stay and pull up a chair.
