renovations are underway again. Seven years my husband and I had an opportunity to purchase a mobile home. It has four bedrooms, a nice size bathroom, kitchen, living room and porch. We purchased it with the sole intent that after it was paid off we would sell it and use that money as a down payment on a house. Well, after seven years the place is payed off and we are getting ready to put it on the market.

During the past seven years, we haven’t put a whole lot of money into it. So now before we will be able to sell it, we need to make some home improvements. We had already started to renovate. We renovated the entire bathroom with a new toilet even. Now we are moving on to the floors and some paint for the walls and ceilings.

As mobile homes are much harder to sell then regular homes, we realize that we do need to put this extra work into if we want to sell it and see a good price. Once all our hard work on the renovations are complete I am confident that we will see a good return on our money and I can see our dream home not so far into the distant future.
