Lifes Like That

My husband and I are having a little argument. We have decided to renovate our living room and we can’t decide between hardwood floors or carpets. I want to go with carpet as I find carpet is a whole lot warmer in the winter. He wants to go with hardwood floor because they look a lot cleaner than carpet and are easier to clean. Having three kids, I still think carpet is the best way to go as it will keep the floor warmer and it will show the dirt less. The price of hardwood is more expensive than carpet as well, and since in the fall we plan on selling I don’t want to put anymore money into this place than I absolutely have to. What do all you think? Is is hardwood floors or carpet for you?
