Lifes Like That

If anyone here works in the service industry, you will know excatly what I’m talking about.  The other night I experienced the rudest customer of all times.  Now, I have waited on a lot of people in my seven years of waitressing, but this one was definitely the worst.  After he was done eating, I asked him if he was finished, he said yes.  I took his plate into the kitchen and dumped the scraps in the garbage.  After I came out he started yelling at me for taking away his supper.  Just to appease him, I got the girls to make him another one on the house.  Of course, he took it to go.  Then he proceeded to brag to his lady friend on how he now had dinner the next day.  I had three other tables in the restaurant and they all proceeded to tell me what an idiot he was and they all wanted to tell him off.  I did too but I’m not allowed so I had to chalk this experience up to a very rude and greedy customer.  I guess it takes all kinds to make this little earth turn round.
