Delayed Honeymoon

My husband and I have been married for five years now and have never taken a honeymoon. With the kids being to little and money a little tight we just never had the opportunity to go. So, the other night we were discussing this and decided that next summer for sure we are going to take a trip just the two of us. So, to get ready for the special ocassion, I have being doing a little research to see where we can go and to try to find the cheapest prices on accomodations and travel. I have came across a site at vacations.net where I think I will be able to find out this valuable information on Best All Inclusive Resort.

This site has just launched a brand new website that caters to the higher end of vacationers, but with extremely reasonable prices and discounts. You can read all about their newly launched website and their services they offer through their latest press release. They offer virtual tours on all the accomodations, valuable discounts to many exotic locations and a very helpful and informative support system. You can browse all you options from their site and then book your preferences right on the spot. So, if it’s a luxuries vacation you are considering but don’t want to pay the high prices that are usually associated with this type of vacation, why not stop by and see just how these people can make your vacation dreams come true.

I’m so slack!!

When I first started blogging, I always made it a point to go in and read some other people blogs and comment on them if I found their content interesting.  I would at least do this a couple times a day.  But, unfortunately real life got in the way.  Between making a quilt for a friend, housework, raising children and working full time, honestly sometimes I find it difficult to be able to maintain my own blogs let alone others.  So, I have made a pact with myself that I am going to start to do this again.  I really did enjoy reading what others had to say and I really do miss that.  So, if I ever get this slack again, just pop on over and give me a little tap and I promise I’ll get back on track.

Bullying on the bus

I am really getting tired of the happenings that have been going on on the school bus these days.  Both of my younger children travel on the same bus in the mornings and as my daughter is two years older than my son and quite a bit bigger, she has a tendency to be a mother hen and watch over him.  This is a great thing and it makes me proud that I have raised my daughter to be like this.  Yesterday she came home from school and informed me that three older boys (grades 4 and 5) had been picking on her little brother on the bus.  He is only in grade 1 and he is very tiny for his age.  So, she stepped in to try to help her brother out and they started picking on her.  When they informed the bus driver of what was happening she said he didn’t respond.  So, here I am again talking to the teachers, bus driver and school board to try to get this straightened out.  They are suppose to have a zero tolerance policy for bullying and I am going to make sure they enforce it.  But, I’m really getting tired of having to take these drastic measures.

Investments

As I get older, my thoughts start to drift to retirement and savings to have for that day. I have discovered a way that I will be able to save some extra cash for my retirement through purchasing silver. Over at monex.com I can purchase silver and other precious metals and have them stored for that retirement day that it’s in the future. They give you the option of purchasing them for immediate use or you can have them stored for future use. The Monex company has been in business for over 30 years and you can read all about the products and services they offer in their latest press release.

As precious metals or silver are easily converted to cash, this type of investment has become more popular over the years. There has never been a better time than right now to purchase silver as the world demand for this commodity far exceeds the production of these metals. So, if you find yourself looking into the future and would like to check out this opportunity of purchasing silver and having it stored for future use, why not stop by this site and find out how you can save for the future.

The four wheeler

My little fellow is six, but he honestly looks the size of a four or five year old.  He is extremely tiny, but this doesn’t stop him.  He’s all boy.  Yesterday, a friend of mine from the bus stop brought up her two small children’s four wheelers to the bus stop.  As soon as Daniel got off the bus, he headed right for them.  Carrie let him get on one and drive it around.  He drove it for an hour and had a blast.  They don’t go very fast because they are battery powered and he was wearing his helmet, but it looked so funny to see this small little boy on this bike.  But, he rode it well and didn’t act a fool on it.  So, my husband and I discussed it last night and we are thinking for a grading present we might come up with the cash and purchase on of these machines.  He was so happy that he kept thanking Carrie for bringing it to the bus stop and kept thanking me for letting him ride it.  I think this will make an awesome grading present for him!
