an earlier post my children had some problems on the bus the other day and I was not pleased about the way it was being handled.  So, I took matters into my own hand.  Three older boys started to pick on my young son and when my daughter stepped in to “protect” her younger brother they started picking on her as well.  As there is suppose to be a zero tolerance to bullying in this school system, I wasn’t to impressed when I spoke to the children about this matter and they expressed that they told the bus driver and he didn’t listen to them.  So, yesterday I spoke to the bus driver myself to try to get this worked out.  I was quite happy to be told that he was indeed aware of the situation, he had been listening to the children and the boys that were doing the bullying were being looked after.  So, since that day there has been no more incicidents and I am quite happy to report that the kids are enjoying the bus once again.

a lot of decision making I finally came to the decision to give up my job this summer.  I have been employed there for almost seven years and this was a very difficult decision to make.  The main reason why I have chosen to do this is because I want the children to be able to finally enjoy a summer.  So, with this decision made all I had to do was to come up with a time frame to be finished.  I decided on my last day to be June 16 and last night I informed my boss of my decision.  She was not really happy about and called me a bad name (joking of course) but she completely understands my reasons for doing this.  So, there is no turning back now as the decision was made and my notice has been given.
