Lifes Like That

As I’ve stated before, last week I gave my employer my unofficial notice at work.  As I have been there so long, I figured it was only right to give her a heads up to my summer plans.  As it turns out it is  a good thing I did this.  One of my other co-workers just informed me that the entire retaurant is getting new uniforms the first of June.  As I am leaving around the middle of June I am not planning on ordering any new uniforms.  Had I not informed my boss of my latest decision, I think this would of sent up a red flag as to why I wasn’t purchasing any new uniforms.  So, if I hadn’t have already told her I was leaving, I think they might of figured it out, when the new uniforms had come in and I didn’t receive any or they may have turned around and ordered me a set anyway and then somebody would have been out some money.  It’s funny how things sometimes works out isn’t it?
