Lifes Like That

I was over reading a friends blog today and seen a post that she has about doing a contest. She is trying to decide what items to purchase. She has it narrowed down to three different items that she would like to purchase, and one of the items is a boxed set of the old classic “Peanuts” comics strips. For those of you out there who don’t know what I’m talking about, it was a comic strip that was extremely popular years ago. It featured characters such as Lucy, Charlie Brown, Linus and of course Snoopy. Every Saturday when the paper came in there was always a rush for the comics section. And, one of the first comic strips I would read would be the Peanuts strip. Seeing this post on her blog, just made all these memories come flooding back. So, if I were her I would definitely purchase this box set to keep the childhood memories alive. This would be a great opportunity for me to show my children what kind of stuff the comics were made of in my younger days.
