Lifes Like That

After six and a half years, today is the day I give my official two weeks notice.  This day is a bittersweet day for me.   Although I am looking forward to having a summer off after six years and finally being able to do things with my family during the warm, sunny summer months, I am kind of sad as I know I will miss the customers and some of the staff.  Since I have been there so long, I have gotten to know quite a few people and have become close to some of the customers.  I know the decision I made is the right decision for my family, but it still doesn’t make it any easier knowing I will no longer be waiting on them in two weeks time.  So, this is a bittersweet day for me, but I know it’s something that I need to do.  So, today starts a new day to a new chapter in my lifes.
