My day
I have discovered that turning 39 isn’t quite so bad. I don’t feel any older than I did yesterday. lol This morning I woke up to the children singing happy birthday to me. Although I hadn’t had my two cups of coffee yet, I thought this was pretty cute. Then they handed me a couple of presents and a black forest cake for my birthday cake. Then my oldest son gave me a present that he had purchased with his own money. So, although he’s a teenager and most times hard to get along with, this act did show me that he does care. After spending the day doing what I love best (quilting), I am now getting ready to go out to supper with my husband. So, all in all it was a pretty good day for me and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for me next year when I finally hit 40.
