Creating another blog

OK,  this has been something I’ve been thinking about for a little while now.  Right now I have three blogs on the go and it does take up quite a bit of my time to maintain them and keep them up to date, but after much thought and consideration, I have decided to set up another one.  Two of the blogs I have right now are on free sites and I’m not really happy right now with free sites as I find that I don’t get a whole lot of traffic to those.  The other site, (this one) is a paid site and I have found that I get a lot more traffic as it is indexed better than the free sites.  So, I bit the bullet and paid for another site to start a new blog on.  As I will be leaving my full time job in less than two weeks, I will have more time on my hands, so I honestly do feel that I will have the proper time to devote to this new site.  So, when I get this wordpress situation worked out I’ll be sure to post and let you all know the home of my newest “baby”.

New books

As I am an avid reader I always get quite excited when I find that people have books to give away for free.  A friend of mine just informed me that she had just been giving a cardboard box full of books from another friend.  And, since she doesn’t read she thought of me.  I can’t wait to see what kind of treasures are in the box.  I generally only read historical romance novels, but when my supply of books is running low, I will read almost anything.  So, it really makes no difference to me what type of books are inside the box, as I’m sure I will eventually read them all.  So, I’m thinking that today is almost like christmas and I can’t wait to open my “present”.

Borrowing money

As my husband and I are currently looking to purchase our first home, I have been doing a lot of research on mortgages and trying to learn everything there is to know about them. Some of the things that I have discovered is that trying to obtain a mortgage can be very confusing and stressful. This is why I rely on sites such as thriftyscot.co.uk to supply me with all my mortgage solutions. Over at this site, I have learned a lot about mortgages, and how to obtain a remortgage if needed. I have also talked to some experts in the field that claim that in today’s world it’s a lot easier to get a mortgage than it was years ago as their are so many options right now for any home buyer. It really doesn’t make a difference these days whether you have bad credit or no credit, as long as you can obtain any number of secured loans, you can get a mortgage. So, if you would like to finally become a home owner and thought you wouldn’t be able to obtain a mortgage, why not check into this site and see how they can make your home buying decision become a reality.

Two children sick

Today is not a very good day at my house, as both of my younger children are home sick from school today.  It’s bad enough on the nerves when their both home just because they have a day off, but when there are two of them sick it makes for an extremely stressful day.  When my daughter is sick all she does is whine which gets on the nerves and when my young fellow is home sick all he likes to do is torment his sister.  At least, this is the end of the school week so hopefully they will get the proper rest to ensure they are better to go back to school on Monday.  I really don’t think I could do another sick day for the both of them again.  But it’s just a bug going around so hopefully it’s only a 24 hour thing.
