Credit Cards

posted in Miscellaneous |

For the longest time, I never had any Credit Cards. I had heard so many horror stories of people running them up and abusing them which in turn ruined their credit. And, I never wanted to find myself in that kind of situation. So, I just never applied for one. But, after discovering that sometimes it’s worse to have no credit than bad credit, I decided that I should apply for one as it needed it to establish some good credit. So, over the past couple of years, I have applied for two credit cards and have been approved for them. I must say that it is very tempting to go out and spend, spend, spend and I can see how people can get themselves in trouble with these cards, but I have also found that with disclipline you can have credit cards and not get yourself in a world of trouble. If I am unable to pay off the balance at the end of each month, I at least make more than the minimum payment on my credit card so I don’t get in over my head in debt. So, I have found that credit cards are very convenient if used properly. If they are only used for emergencies or smaller purchases that can be paid off at the end of the month, then they are a good thing to have as if you don’t get yourself involved heavily with them you can use them to establish good credit. So, if you would like to follow my advice and would like to start to establish good credit for yourself, why not apply for a Credit Card UK today and start on the road to your good credit future.
