Since I’m posting this, obviously this isn’t really a surprise party, but the girls at work think that I don’t know anything about it.  But because one of the girls I work with knows that I don’t like to be ambushed, they pre-warned me that something like this is taking place in the near future.  In five days, I will no longer be working at my current place of employment and because I’ve been there for so long and know quite a few people they have decided to have a going away party for me.  I think this is a very sweet and wonderful idea.  But, had  I not known about it ahead of time, I would have been embarrased and my friend was aware of this so this is why she warned me.  I think this is great and when the time comes I will act completely surprised, but at least I’m aware of whats going on and can prepare for it.

No, you read the topic right.  It is now May 16 and on the radio I just heard that we are in for a major blizzard.  Honestly I don’t know what to make of this.  I live in the Eastern part of Canada.  And, in normal years, this time of the year we usually are experiencing rain, not snow.  The birds are usually singing, but if we get what they are calling for I’m thinking the polar bears may start singing.  I’m just amazed at this weather, and I’m really starting to think that I fell asleep and missed Summer.  Anybody else in here going through this wacky weather?  I know the snow won’t stay, but just the thoughts of this storm makes me very cold….
