Lifes Like That

This sounds like a repeat of yesterday doesn’t it?  Well it kind of is, but not quite.   Today after my young son got off the school bus he went up to the playground and started digging a hole again.  Once he made it big enough, he sat in it and started to bury himself again.  Once I discovered what he was doing, I yelled up to him to make sure he didn’t lose a sneaker again.  Well, he yelled back at me that I didn’t have to worry about that today as he already took off his sneakers and had set them beside him.  So, I guess he was really thinking today wasn’t he?  I would never have thought of that.  But, I guess that’s why I’m not a six year old little boy.  As long as he doesn’t take off any of his other clothes, I think we will be pretty safe.

One of the guys that my husband works with came into work today with a small lap dog that he had just got from the Animal Rescue league.  The dog that he got was just the perfect size of a dog that we had been looking for.  My husband tried to talk him into giving us this dog, but no luck.  But, he did say that they have quite a few over there that are this size.  So, after work tonight he is going to stop in to see what kinds of dogs they currently have.  Right now, living in a mobile home, we really only can take a smaller one as our home is bursting at the seams right now.  But, if he’s successful and finds one that he likes, my youngest son will have a new best friend and will love his father for ever.  All he’s talked about since he can talk is about getting a dog.  So, we will see and hopefully quite soon I can post that we have a new addition to the family.
