Lifes Like That

You all know that I love my kids dearly and I enjoy every small thing that they do for me to show me that they love me.  But…..they can sure get me in some sticky situations.  For instance, my daughter yesterday thought she would pick me some flowers on her way home from school yesterday, but unfortunately the flowers she picked was from someone elses garden.  I have told her and her brother time and time again, not to pick flowers in other people’s yards, but she just couldn’t help herself.  So, last night I had to go to this lady’s house and apologize for my daughter’s loving deed.  Thankfully this woman is a mother and a grandmother so she completely understood the situation and made light of it.  So, on our way home from the lady’s house I showed her what flowers she could pick and I encouraged her to pick me a lot of pretty “dandelions”.  She now knows which ones are my “favorite” and hopefully we will never have a repeat of yesterday.
