With summer just around the corner, I have been thinking about where I would like to go on vacation this year. I have always dreamed of having a Kissimmee vacation. Anyone with kids will get a real kick out of this.  My youngest son is six and has a very loose tooth.  Well, apparently him and his sister can’t wait for the tooth to fall out for the tooth fairy to come and give him money.  So, yesterday my daughter wrote a letter to the tooth fairy that stated that her brother had a loose tooth and if she could please just leave $5.00 under his pillow for the tooth, when it finally does fall out they promise to put the tooth under his pillow and she can just take it.  How crazy is that???  I’m pretty sure they wanted the money for family fun day which was today and that’s why they wanted his money advanced to him up front.  But, I’m pretty sure the tooth fairy didn’t already leave the money.  I’m sure she will return when the tooth finally does fall out.

Our children’s school has one major fund raising event a year.  It always happens in June and it is called family fun day.  This is where the children can participate in a lot of activities and win prizes.  There is also pony rides, dunk tank and pie in the face contest.  It’s a lot of fun and it raises quite a bit of money that they then use for improvements to their playground.  We took the children to this event earlier today and they had a blast.  My son entered all the sports games while my daughter was more interested in the inside activities and the pony rides.  So, it was a huge success for the school and a huge fun day for the kids and us.
