I got you all thinking now didn’t I.  No, we haven’t purchased the home yet.  But this morning my husband did start to put the new siding on our mobile home.  And it is starting to look like a brand new home.  It’s amazing how a little bit of siding will imporve the look of a home dramatically.  Right now it has the older tin siding on it and it doesn’t look very good.  I don’t really care for the color either as it is yellow.  But we purchased (last spring) brand new white siding and I have to say that it does really make a remarkable difference.  Now, if I could just convince him to keep at it until the entire place is sided, then it will look like we have a brand new home.

Of course, I’ll keep you all posted on his progress and hopefully I will be able to post a picture of the final look.

For all you parents out there who has a little girl, you may be able to relate to this post. My daughter’s grade 3 french class is hosting a little cafe today for some of the teachers. This past week has been a really awesome week.  My husband was home this week on holidays and we never stopped.  I know I was a little slack in my postings on my blogs, but next week when he goes back to work I promise I will get back to the grind.  The kids had such an amazing week.  Right after school for the past three days their father has taken them to the park.  They had so much fun there and they played so hard, that they wore themselves out and have slept soundly every night.  So, all in all the week turned out better than I had anticipated and we all had fun.  Now that the weekend is here, I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us.
