Lifes Like That

Well, the weekend is almost here and yes, we will be attempting to go on our first camping trip of the season.  I never realized exactly how much stuff was required for a family of four to go on a two day camping trip.  I started packing up stuff last night and was amazed at the amount of bags I have filled so far.  And, that’s not including the food that I really think I should pack up.  As this is the first trip with our new trailer, we need to supply it with everything.  After this weekend we won’t need to stock up the trailer quite so much on any other trips.  And, this is the only thing that keeps me from going out of my mind thinking that if I had to do this each and every time we went camping what would be the point.  So, as soon as my husband get home from work we will be on our way and I’ll be sure to let you all know of how our weekend turned out.

Today my friend and I went out for a drive while the kids were in school.  As today was the last full day of school this was our last opportunity to get together without children for a while.  So, we decided to go into our local dollar store just to browse around.  Well, you can imagine my delight when as soon as we walked in I seen a shelf fully loaded with previously viewed books at $2.00 a book.  I was just like a kid in a candy store.  I purchased four books, but had a really hard time deciding between all them to decide what to purchase first.  When one of the clerks seen my selections, she commented that they were just trying this out and if they get a good response, they will continue to sell these books at these low prices.  So, I informed her that they have a least one customer who will purchase all her books there.  So, keep your fingers crossed for me that they will continue to sell these books in the future and I can save a pile of money on my reading habits.

One of my favorite parts about belonging to the blogging community is that fact that I can get the first glimpse of some blogs that I know are going to be great. As of right now I have four blogs on the go that I usually post in daily so I know how difficult it is to set one up and to try to attract readers to come and view my posts. So, when I come accross a really neat blog that I find that I like the layout, design and content on I usually like to share it. Well, I have discovered a blog over at mrsrugged.com I just love the way this blog is designed and love the layout. After reading some of her posts, I have discovered that I like reading all her different things that are going on in her life. So, why not drop by this site and see exactly what I’m talking about.

This is my favorite time of year. This is when all the berries start to come out in full bloom. I just love all types of berries like strawberries, blueberries and Cherries. I’m a big fan of graphic designing. Being a fairly crafty and artistic person myself, I can appreciate all the hard work and motivation that comes from this type of activity. So, it’s actually quite sad that I am really not any good at designing. So, this is why I enjoy so much checking out different types of blogs and websites that display awesome graphic designs and drawings. I have just been visiting a site over at Designing my World and I have to admit that I really enjoyed seeing the posts and pictures on display over there. It just amazes me how talented this author is and if I could just learn one little thing from him concerning designing, I would be a happy person.
