Lifes Like That

Now that we are finally getting some nice weather my husband and I have started to put siding on our mobile home.  Right now it has the old tin siding and it certainly doesn’ t look good.  So last fall we purchased some newer white siding to try to make the outside of our home look better.  We now have about half of the front finished and I have to say I couldn’t be more pleased than if we had of hired a professional to do the work for us.  Obviously neither one of us are siding professioinals, but looking at our work, I must say we have done a pretty good job.  So, every night when he gets home from work we will continue to work on this project and hopefully soon we will have a brand new looking home.

While searching the Internet for available jobs for me to look into when September hits, I have discovered that there are a lot of sites out there that promise to help me Find a Job. But some of these sites come up short and make me feel like I have wasted my time.

I am happy to report that I have found a site over at snagajob.com that has been very helpful in my search. Over at this site you can browse their many listings. They list all jobs by county, region, and job titles. Their site is extremely easy to navigate and I had no problems finding jobs that relate to the field that I’m interested in. So the next time you start a Job Search, I would advise you to check into snagajob.com and discover all the jobs that are available to you in your area.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I have a real hard time getting the kids to clean their rooms and to make them keep them clean.  It seems to me everyday I am yapping at them to clean their rooms.  I have tried everything to motivate them.  One day I told my daughter she couldn’t come out of her room until it was cleaned and she spent an entire afternoon in there.  I’m not sure exactly what she did as when she finally came out, the room still wasn’t clean.

So those of you who have children.  What methods do you use to get your children to clean their rooms and keep them clean?  Or do you just give up and end up doing it yourself?
