There is one thing in life that drives me crazy. And that is when someone says to me “you are so skinny, I hate you”. I despise the word “skinny” and it really bothers me that people don’t understand that it’s just as difficult for me to gain weight as it is for others to lose it. All my life I have been thin and have tried to put on weight. Currently I am five foot one inch tall and only weigh 98lbs. My doctor has informed me that my ideal weight for my height is 110lbs but I can’t seem to crack the 100lb mark.
Being underweight can be just as harmful to your health as being over weight. So, the next time you see a “skinny” person walking down the street, try to keep in mind that this person possibly isn’t happy with their weight and if they are anything like me hates the word “skinny”.
Just my little rant.

I have come to the realization that to get the kids to clean their rooms I have to have mine cleaned as well. The other day I asked my two younger kids to clean their rooms and my daughter asked why she had to clean her room if I didn’t have to clean mine. Smart thinking I would say wouldn’t you? The thing is my room is quite small and with a queen sized bed and two dressers there isn’t a whole lot of room to move around in so it always looks cluttered. So now I have to find different hinding places for all my stuff so my room looks clean to the kids and then I will be able to say to them that they need to clean their rooms because mine is clean.
For all you parents out there have you ever gotten this response from your children?

Most of us have at least one pet in our home. Currently we have a cat, but my youngest son really really wants a dog. But because we live in a small home we always thought getting a dog would be a major hassle. This is why I was quite surprised to find a site that is totally dedicated to dogs and learned through this site that it would be possible for us to get a Basset Hound for him.
Basset Hounds are quite small dogs and are primarily indoor dogs. So, this type of dog would be perfect for our household. They require very little space as they are only a medium dog, they live for about nine to eleven years and are quite a calm animal. So, after reading all these facts about this particular animal we have decided that we may in fact look into obtaining this breed of a dog for our next family pet. My youngest son is quite excited about this decision and I am very grateful that I found out this information now during his growing up years.
Not only does this site discuss all the postives and negatives about this type of dog, but they also have numerous links about dogs in general. You can browse photos of different types of dogs and you can also submit a photo of your own. They have plenty of resources concerning dogs such as raising your dog, they list dogs by size and dogs by groups. So, if a getting a dog is in your future, then I would highly suggest that you drop by this site and get all the ins and outs concerning these lovable pets before you decide on one particular breed.
