Anniversary surprise
My husband and my anniversary is coming up on Friday and the two younger kids are so excited. I have no idea why and I’m thinking that maybe they think they will get something out of this special occasion. Yesterday as I was cleaning my daughter’s room (she’s eight) I stumbled across a couple of cards that she had made for us. They were so cute with stickers on them and a poem in each one of them. You could just tell that a lot of thought had gone into these cards.
Of course I didn’t tell her that I found them and when she hands them to us on Friday I will act surprised at the thoughtful thing that she did. I don’t have to ACT proud, because I really am. I have a couple of great kids, and this is just another way that they have shown me just how great they are.
