My oldest son was picked this year to attend a summer french course in a different province at a University. This year he will be going back into grade 12 and I thought this would be a wonderful experience for him. Well, this past weekend he came home for three days and now has gone back up to finish the second part of the course. His first part of the course went well and he passed an got a certificate to say he can now speak french. He had a blast during his first five weeks up there and hopefully his last four weeks will be just as enjoyable. But, it was good to see him as he had been away for the entire five weeks and we all look forward to when his next four weeks are over and he will be home for good.

When I first started on the Internet and first started blogging, I had no clue what I was doing and I required a lot of assistance from fellow bloggers to lend me a hand. Now that I’ve been doing this for a little while, I have learned a lot and now I am one of the ones that people call on when they need assistance. I don’t mind at all and it gives me great pleasure to know that I have acutally helped someone. Just their thanks alone is enough for me.
A friend of mine that I’ve been helping out quite a bit getting into blogging sent me a special little treat yesterday as her way of saying thanks. She made me a tray of peanut butter balls. Just saying thank you to me for my help was enough, but she felt she needed to do something a little extra. I don’t mind (LOL) and neither did my kids. But honestly thanks would have been enough.

Now that we are in the process of selling our current home and hopefully purchasing a new home, I have been doing a lot of research on different real estate companies and I have been trying to find a reliable and competant real estate broker. There are different things that I look for when I look for the perfect broker. I check to see how long they have been in this business, how knowledgeable they are about the current market and how willing they are to talk to me. I have found that perfect person yet, but I will keep searching until I do.
