Lifes Like That

My  daughter is nine today.  Wow, I feel so old.  And my youngest son will turn seven tomorrow.  So this year we did what we always do and we celebrate their birthdays together.  They usually get their presents on my daughter’s birthday and they get their cake on my son’s birthday.  Because they are so close in age and so close, this has always worked out for them.  Maybe when they get a little older, they will want to celebrate them seperately, but for now they love sharing their special days on the same day.
