Lifes Like That

My husband’s mother has been battling stomach cancer for almost three years now.  Just last night she was taken to the hospital by ambulance.  Things don’t look good for her at this point, but we will learn more as they start running the tests.  My husband is so upset with this news, and I don’t know how to help him.  Three years ago my dad passed away from long cancer and my husband was my rock.  Seriously I don’t know what I would have done without him.  This is why it is so devastating to me that I’m unable to help him.

All I can do is just be there for him and let him know that I am here.  Hopefully that will be enough, because at this point this is all he will accept from me.
