Another reader in the house

As you all know, I am a very avid reader and sometimes I will post a review on a book that I have recently read. So, I always get excited when I meet another reader like myself. I have discovered a blog over at Ode To My Tainted Dreamz where the author likes to read just as much as I do.

I enjoy reading so many of their posts, but my favorite post on this site has to be their post about reading. They make a joke about reading so much and going blind by the time they reach the age of 30. I would just like to inform them that I am now 39 and I read just as much as they do, so I think they are safe.

Beautiful watch

My husband’s company was just sold. When we were first informed of this, we thought it may be a bad thing, but it turned out not so bad. His new company gave all their employees brand new hamilton watches as a thanks for their continued service throughout the years. With presents like this, we are now thinking that this company may turn out to be the best one that he’s been employed with so far.

Blogging community

I have only been blogging for about eight months now and I have to tell you all that I’m loving it. I love belonging to the blogging community and have met so many people through this community. One person I have met from one of the many blogging communities that I belong to is Rose Hetherington.

I have been checking out Rose’s blog at lot lately. I find that she writes very concise and interesting posts. I love the wide range of topics that are covered in this blog. You never know from day to day what Rose is going to be discussing next. And this is why I usually end up at her blog on a regular basis. I’m always wondering what she is up to today.

House guest

We have an unwanted house guest in our home these days.  My son calls him “mousey”.  That’s right, we have a mouse.  You would think that since we have a cat, that we wouldn’t have any of these unwanted house guests, but no, our cat is more interested in chasing flies than he is chasing mice.  My son is a better mouser than my cat is.  When the cat here’s the mouse (he’s under the cupboard somewhere), he arches his back, but if the mouse seems to be closer then the cat runs away.  My son on the other hand, if he hears it, he stays right still in the spot he’s standing in just in case he gets to see the mouse.  He is kind of ticked off at the mouse right now as the mouse was eating the cat food.  You would think that the cat would be annoyed over this fact before my son would be, but….nope, he doesn’t seem to mind sharing.
