Lifes Like That

After months and months of asking my husband to go through his clothes to find ones that don’t fit or are so worn out that they are not fit for human consumption, I finally went through them.  I know when I tell him that I did it he will say that he was going to do it.  And boy is he going to annoyed with me.  I threw out a lot.  This will force him to go out and buy new clothes.  But I say, it’s about time.  Maybe next time I harp at him to get something done, he will remember today and he will do it instead of leaving it up to me.

It’s been three months now since I quit my job and became a full time stay at home mom and I have to say that I’m still loving it!!  I kind of thought that after working steadily for the past six and half years, that I would be missing the routine by now.  But I’m not.  So this makes me think that I couldn’t have been all that happy at my old job.  The only thing I miss is the paycheck.  But, all the other aspects of the job itself, I don’t miss.  Maybe in six months I may feel differently, but I really don’t think so.  I know there will come a time in my life when I will decide I need to get back out in the workforce, but apparently not today!

Now that the renovations are almost complete we have been looking at purchasing some new furniture for our home. One item that I would dearly love to have in my living room and family room is a fireplace. I think that vent free gas fireplaces are so beautiful and I find that they enhance any room in the house. They are just so cozy and comfortable looking. But along with purchasing a fireplace I will also need to invest in a fireplace surrounds. If I’m going to get my space to look the way I want it too, then I think by investing in these products, it will help me improve the look of the space a lot.
