Lifes Like That

Three months ago my oldest son moved out and his room was promised to my youngest son. This has not happened yet. I’ve been nagging (you know what this is like girls)  my husband for three months now to exchange dressers and to take out the other pieces of furniture. Well today I finally gave in and did it myself. You really need to picture this. I’m 5 foot 1 inches tall and weigh about 95 lbs. But here I was pushing dressers and furniture up and down the hallway. I figured that it would be only way it would ever get done.

When he gets home from work tonight, I’m going to request danger pay because of the dangerous mission I had to undertake because he wouldn’t. I’m done ranting now. LOL

My husband just applied for a personal loan through his bank, I can’t even begin to tell you what kind of hoops they made him jump through. He’s been with this bank for several years and has been employed at the same company for the past ten years. Because of this, I have no idea why this bank would give him such a difficult time while he was looking at obtaining different types of loans. They did eventually approve him, but due to this process, I’m sure he will look elsewhere if he decides to obtain any type of personal loans in the future. One type of loan that seems to be a little less of a hassle would be secured loans . These types of loans seem to be easier to acquire than other types of loans. So, the next time we need a loan of any type, I’m seriously thinking we will need to check into secured loans a little bit more closely.

Tomorrow night after my husband gets off work he starts his vacation.  He has nine days off and the kids are us were very much looking forward to this extra time together.  We had planned on going camping for most of the week (this probably would have been the last trip for the season), but circumstances have changed this.

With my husband’s mother now in the hospital, and not doing very well, we have decided that we can’t go that far away from home.  Plus, for the past three days we have had fall like temperatures, not summer.  So, I think it will end up being to cold as well.  But that’s OK.  We do have things that we need to get done around the house, plus finish getting the kids ready to go back to school.  I’m sure we will find some fun time and do some special things with the kids, just not what we had originally planned on doing.
