Yesterday as I was exchanging dressers from one room to the next, I learned a very valuable lesson.  You cannot have a press board dresser for sixteen years and expect it to still be sturdy and usable after all that time.  The dresser I took out of our bedroom, had been in our home for sixteen years.  When my husband got home from work and asked me what I wanted done with it, I told him just to throw it out as it was no use to us any longer.  I was amazed, when he picked it up and literally broke it into hundreds of pieces just with his bare hands.  This is why I have come to the conclusion that a sixteen year old dresser really did live past it’s prime.

When my husband and I got married, we just went to the justice of the peace and said our I do’s. Our entire immediate family was there, including our kids but it wasn’t the same as having the big white wedding with tons of family and friends enjoying the day with us. So therefore, if I had to do it all over again, I would probably have gone with the big fancy wedding. I know that with this type of wedding I would have had to do a lot of Wedding Planning to do and probably would have been complaining about all the work involved, but I think it would have been worth it.

So my husband and I are planning on renewing our wedding vows at a formal ceremony on our ten year anniversary. I know I have a lot of planning ahead of me, but I’m very excited to begin this process. So, I’ve been doing a little research on Wedding Planning sites and I have come across a really amazing site over at hitweddings.com.
