Smelling good

What is with women’s fascination with perfume? In most countries, the manufacturers of perfume are not legally obligated to provide the ingredients of their perfumes, but in my honest opinion, I really think they should have to. Because perfumes are made up of combination of chemicals, I think it would be very consumer friendly of these companies to disclose exactly what their products are made up of. Not only would the consumer be able to judge for themselves if they wanted to wear these types of chemicals, but by their disclosure, they could be helping thousands of potential allergy sufferers in the process.

I have purchased both the very expensive types of perfume as well as the discount womens perfume and I can’t honestly tell you that I found a great difference between the two besides the price. I think if the different manufactures listed the ingredients on their perfumes then consumers could make a healthier choice as to what they would purchase. This would benefit the higher priced perfumes as well as the lower priced ones. If consumers can see that even the higher priced perfumes contained less chemicals than the lower priced ones did, then these may be the ones they decide to purchase.
