Hiring my daughter

If your life is anything like mine then it’s full of cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning.  Some days I wish that I’m not the only one who does housework around here.  Well my daughter offered to help me with the housework today and I took her up on this offer.  I figured why not, she’s now 9.  She did a wonderful job.  She dried all the dishes for me and helped me sort out the mounds and mounds of laundry.  She is a really good helper and now that I know how good of a job she can do I will be employing her services more often.  I figure I should take the help when I can get it as when she gets older, she may not be quite so willing to help out dear old mom.

Collecting your mail

As you all know, my husband and I have been looking into purchasing a new home. At the current home that we have we do not need any residential mailboxes, but for some of the homes we have been looking at we are going to need to purchase a couple of mailboxes. We will need one for our regular mail as well as purchase one for our newspapers.

This is why I am quite happy to tell you that I have found a site over at mailboxixchange.com where I can purchase any type of mailbox that I need. Not only do they sell residential mailboxes, but you are also able to purchase commercial mailboxes as well. Their product line is quite extensive and you can order any of their products directly from their site. One of the neat features about this site, is that they also offer an affiliate program as well. So if you would like to help them sell their extensive product line, just sign up to become an affiliate and they will pay you $20 just for signing up. For more information regarding their affiliate program, just check out htt://www.mailboxixchange.com/store/pages.php?pageid=10.

Perking her spirits up

As you all know, my mother in law is now in the hospital, she is not doing very well at this point at all.  So, the family is spending as much time with her as possible.  My husband’s sister is arriving home today from out West and his mother is so excited that she is on her way.  As his sister lives so far away, she doesn’t have the opportunity to visit like my husband or his other sister has so when she is able to make it home, his mother is so happy.  If anything could perk up her spirits, having her youngest daughter home will.  So, although she is not feeling very well these days at all, this visit is definitely helping her out.

Best friends

My two youngest who are only two years apart in age fight constantly, but when push comes to shove you can tell that they are each other’s best friends.  Yesterday we took the kids out for something to eat.  With their kids meal, they each got a free ice cream treat.  While my daughter was eating hers, it broke and fell on the floor.  My son, being the nice kids that he is, offered the rest of his to her.  I thought this way very sweet.  He didn’t have to give it to her as my husband gave her the money to buy a new one, but I thought the offer by my son was one of the sweetest things he’s ever done.
