Lifes Like That

The decision has been made

The decision has been made

As most of you know I left my job over three months ago with the thoughts of possibly going back to work in September.  Well there is only one more week left before the kids go back to school, so last night I decided I should probably discuss with my husband and whether I would be looking for a job soon.   After a long discussion, we decided that I will not be looking for something outside of the home.  I’m going to kick up my home based crafting business to earn that little bit of extra income.  So today I went out and purchased some fabric to start making quilts again.  Once I have one made, I will post it on the Internet and see if I get any interest.  If I do, then I will make some more.  Now that I know how to operate my digital camera, I promise as soon as it’s made, I will post a picture.

Eye of the Dolphin

There is a brand new movie coming out on August 24th that looks to be quite interesting. This movie is called dolphin movie and it stars Carly Schroeder. Basically what this movie is about is a 15 year old girl has been expelled from school and forced to live with her father who is a dolphin research scientist. The teenager and her father’s personalities clash so she forms a relationship with a wild dolphin. Between her and her dolphin friend, they are able to help their impoverished community.

This is an awesome movie for the entire family to enjoy together and if you go to their site and click on this link, you are able to enter to win free tickets to this production. This movie will be out in theaters and promises to be one of the best films of the summer. You can check out the trailer to catch a sneak preview .

I was surprised

I have to give my kids the proper credit.  Today we went into see my husband’s mother in the hospital and I was extremely amazed at how well my kids did.  She is really sick and she looks it, but it didn’t seem to bother them (I honestly thought it would).  They behaved really well for them and I was very happy at how respectful and quite they were.  This was no small feat for them, as my son is normally a bundle of energy.  They said their goodbyes and gave their kisses and hugs.  This made grammie very happy and she seemed to be quite pleased with the visit.  Because of the way they behaved today, we will take them back again real soon to see her.
