I have to give my kids the proper credit.  Today we went into see my husband’s mother in the hospital and I was extremely amazed at how well my kids did.  She is really sick and she looks it, but it didn’t seem to bother them (I honestly thought it would).  They behaved really well for them and I was very happy at how respectful and quite they were.  This was no small feat for them, as my son is normally a bundle of energy.  They said their goodbyes and gave their kisses and hugs.  This made grammie very happy and she seemed to be quite pleased with the visit.  Because of the way they behaved today, we will take them back again real soon to see her.

    Wow, amazing how children can surprise us in moments we may feel so tense in what may go wrong.
    I know my son has surprised me too in places that I thought he would do otherwise.
    I enjoyed your post and how it related to children in places they can make us proud at the end of the day. Motherhood, a beautiful job
