Lifes Like That

Yesterday my youngest son got off the school bus so excited.  He received a “World’s greatest student” trophy from his teacher.  He explained that he got this trophy because he answered all of the math questions correct.  He was so happy that his teacher liked his work so much that she gave him a trophy.  And he gets to keep it!!  That’s the major thing that I love about the kids school.  All the teacher’s and faculty praise the children so much when they do good work, that it makes the child feel special.  This in turn makes the child like school and want to do their very best.  This positive reinforcement goes a long way with my children and it is because of little things like awards and trophies that make my kids love going to school and love to learn.  I wonder what today will bring??

While I was growing up, one of my most favorite things to do was to play pool with my brothers and my dad. Living in the country, we didn’t have a whole lot of choices to partake in, so playing pool was one of the things that we liked to do. So I have decided that I would like to purchase a pool table for my kids. I think they will get as much enjoyment out of this sport as I did. I really hope that this purchase gives my kids hours of fun filled enjoyment and I’m sure they will enjoying playing pool with their family just as much as I did growing up.
