With my nephew getting married very soon, my sister-in-law has been frantically searching for perfect bridesmaid dresses that will compliment the wedding party. I understand completely that if you own and run a blog, your going to open yourself up to some spam comments.  But, I have to say that today more than any other day I am totally disgusted with the spam comments.  This morning when I got up and checked my e-mails I discovered I had 84 spam comments.  That’s right you read right, 84!!  This is utterly ridiculous!!  I am extremely thankful that my site filters out all my comments, but it does take up valuable time deleting them.  For the past few weeks I’ve been getting about 15 to 20 a day and I thought that was bad, but honestly folks today took the cake.

Is anybody aware of a way that I can control this spam any better before it gets completely out of hand??

While I sit and wait for my children to get off the school bus, I have noticed a trend in children’s footwear. It seems that a lot of boys in my kids school are wearing desert boots or combat boots. My youngest son has expressed his wishes to own a pair of these boots, so it’s more research for me.
