Lifes Like That

I understand completely that if you own and run a blog, your going to open yourself up to some spam comments.  But, I have to say that today more than any other day I am totally disgusted with the spam comments.  This morning when I got up and checked my e-mails I discovered I had 84 spam comments.  That’s right you read right, 84!!  This is utterly ridiculous!!  I am extremely thankful that my site filters out all my comments, but it does take up valuable time deleting them.  For the past few weeks I’ve been getting about 15 to 20 a day and I thought that was bad, but honestly folks today took the cake.

Is anybody aware of a way that I can control this spam any better before it gets completely out of hand??
