Planning a trip

Planning a trip

My husband and I are planning a romantic getaway for next summer. It will be the first trip that him and I have ever taken without the kids. I have discovered that planning a trip can be so stressful and time consuming, so I have been seriously considering getting a free trip planner from realtravel.com to help me arrange things.

The biggest benefit I have found when utilizing the services of a trip planner is that you can gain extensive knowledge of the existing prices on things such as airfare and accommodations. The trip planner would be able to help you arrange deals, and you can find valuable information to help you plan your trip. Because of the wealth of information that you can recieve, they can direct you on the latest hot spots, inform you of any events that are taking place in and around the world, and take away all the stress that comes with planning any trip.

So, if you are thinking about heading somewhere for a little relaxation, and would like to acquire a free trip planner for yourself, why not drop by this site and check out all they have to offer.

Nice phone call yesterday

Four months ago I stopped working at a restaurant and decided to stay home with my kids at least for a little while.  Well the summer has ended so yesterday I got a phone call from my old boss begging me to come back to work.  She told me I could work whatever I wanted and when I told her I don’t have a babysitter, she stated that she would work around my husband’s hours.  I did tell her I would think about it.  Although the extra money would be nice, I just can’t convince myself to go back there.  The kids are enjoying me being home so much and I’m enjoying being home that I just can’t wrap my brain around going back to work.  It was a very nice phone call and I am tickled that they still want me back even after four months, but I think I’m going to have to call her back and say not right now.  Who knows maybe in the future I may change my mind, but for now I’m still content staying home.

I have a dream

We all have dreams in life right?? Well, one of my dreams would be to go on a cruise. I haven’t been able to decide if I’d like to take one of many caribbean cruises or if I would just like to take a local one. Travelling that far away does scare me a bit, but I think the adventure that these types of cruises offer would more than help me get through my fear. I swear, that when the kids get a little older, I will be fulfilling my dream and my husband and I will be headed out to the high seas.

Sick day

Well you know the school year has officially started when the kids wake up in the morning claiming they are sick.  So the school year officially started this morning with my daughter claiming she is sick.  It’s nothing serious she just has a sore stomach.  So we did let her stay home this morning, but I have to tell you all that she doesn’t seem that sick to me.  So a little later I needed to go to the bank, but with her home sick I was going to put it off.  But, since she seems OK I will probably go and end up taking her with me.  Thankfully my son still went to school. (a lot of times he won’t if she doesn’t)  But, she seems OK so tomorrow it will be back on the bus for her.

Home improvement site

As you all know, my husband and I have been involved in a lot of Home improvements lately. We have been doing so much work to our home, that it is now almost looking like a new home. We have replaced windows and doors, flooring and have done a massive amount of painting. So, while we have been involved with these home renovations, I have been doing a lot of research on the Internet for home improvement sites to get different ideas for our home.

I have found a site over at anglianhome.co.uk that lists quite a few different ideas for anyone who is considering doing some massive home renovations. Over at this site they have a lot of home improvements products listed in their extensive inventory. While comparing prices to sites that are similar in nature, I have found that their prices seem to be quite reasonable. Their highly qualified and experienced staff are more than happy to assist you with any questions or problems that you may have. So, if you have started any home improvement projects of your own, and would like to discover an amazing home improvement site, look no further. This site has everything you would ever need and then some.

They messed up

It’s nice to see that when a company messes up they take responsibilty for the actions and try to make things right.  This doesn’t happen very often, so when it does I like to give credit where credit is due.  I am talking about an incident that happend this morning.  I realize it was only a small purchase, but it was still nice that these people were so  helpful.  I went to my local Tim Horton’s this morning (anyone from Canada knows exactly what I’m talking about) and they messed up my order.  When I explained to them that they messed up my order, they proceeded to aplogize quite nicely and they gave me a little extra something for my troubles.  This is what I would call excellent customer service and this is why I continue to frequent this store.

Christmas is coming

With the Christmas season fast approaching we are all looking for some great Gift Ideas for family and friends. Over the past few years, I have discovered that the one gift that people give that is very well received is a gift card. There are literally thousands of stores that now offer gift cards. Due to this major growth in the gift card industry, there is an online store that tries to cater to customers needs. This site over at giftcardlab.com has tapped into a very unique market by offering consumers the option to have pictures or images uploaded onto a Visa gift card. This is such an awesome gift to give to someone. It can be personalized to any individuals taste, and it is a great way to tell someone your thinking of them at this special time of year. Their official launch date for these unique cards is November 15. Just in time for the gift giving season.
