Yesterday on our way to my husband’s fathers house we seen someone having a yard sale.  So just for kicks, we decided to stop in and see what they had for sale.  Most yard sales consist of a lot of junk or they charge unreal prices for their junk.  But, we were seriously surprised a this yard sale.  The prices were really good.  I ended up getting six books for $1.50.  You can’t beat that.

Sorry Tammy, you don’t get these ones as they will be part of my collection of V.C. Andrews so I won’t be passing them on to you. LOL  It would be nice if all yard sales were like this.  Maybe it wouldn’t cost me such a fortune in books. LOL

My daughter is nine now so her father has decided that it time that she starts helping with the chores around the house.  At first this sounded like a pretty good idea.  As the chore he asked her to do was to fold the towels in the laundry.  But when he mentioned that she would be helping me do the dishes she rolled her eyes, but did agree.  So, I will be getting her to help me a little more often with the household chores.  I don’t know how happy she will be with this, but time will tell.  I was about her age when I started helping around the house and it didn’t hurt me.  My youngest son wants to help as well.  So I will be finding him some smaller chores to help out with.

Yesterday I got a phone call from my aunt. She was so upset because my uncle got caught drinking and driving again.
