I have finally decided what type of gift that I am going to purchase for my husband this year. I am going to purchase him a Bose home theater system. Currently we do have a home theater system, but it is quite old and with the advancement in technology these days, a newer system would be perfect for him. He is seriously into watching movies and I know he would be very happy to receive this type of gift. Now only if I can find a perfect place to keep this amazing gift all my troubles would be over.

It’s almost the first of December and I still have so…much to do to get ready for Christmas. This year once again I am seriously behind schedule. Although I do have most of my shopping done and all the wrapping done, I don’t have anything else done. I still need to do my Christmas cleaning, cooking and decorating. Oh, I know it will all get done eventually, but when time is running this short I do start to get a little panicky!! But, as my husband always loves to tell me. What gets done, gets done and what doesn’t, doesn’t. The kids don’t care as long as there is a tree up and gifts under the tree. So why I should I worry about it. But, being a mom, you always worry don’t ya??

Since starting up my small home crafting business and setting up a website to display all the products that I have for sale, I have not had a whole lot of traffic to this site. So, I have decided to try something different to get the word out about my brand new site. This weekend I am going to a craft fair and I will be giving away some personalized pens to prospective buyers. After doing a little research, I have found this to be an effective advertising method to get the word out. Hopefully by giving away these pens, I will be able to drive a little extra traffic to my site.

Although I don’t want to wait until after Christmas to make my office furniture purchases, my husband has talked me into waiting. He made a good point that in January I will probably find better prices and after holiday sales. So, although I really want some new furniture for my home office now, I am going to wait so hopefully I will save some cash on these purchases. But, come January, look out! As I will be making these purchases.

Finally after three weeks of having sick kids home (and a sick husband), I have the house to myself today. My daughter went back to school today after being out of school for an entire week due to phenomia. She is on the mend and back to her normal routine, so this makes it so I can get back to my normal routine. This means it is going to be a very busy day for me today. I need to clean out my car (to get it ready for inspection), go to the store to buy wrapping paper and tape, wrap gifts and do some more work on my homemade jewelry to get ready for a craft fair this weekend. If the kids were still sick and at home, all this work wouldn’t be possible. But with them both in school and my husband back at work, I have run out of excuses. lol

It’s been a long three weeks. First my youngest son became sick with what we discovered later on to be an ear infection. Well he is pretty much 100% now. Then my husband took sick. He had a viral infection. So, after about a week, he started feeling better as well. Well lately it has been my daughter’s turn. She has phenomena but has medicine so she is definitely on the mend as well. And…me. I have laryngitis. Although I’m not really sick, I still can’t talk. Today is actually worse than yesterday. But, unless is gets a lot worse, I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing and hopefully I’ll soon be on the mend as well. Around my house, we just can’t seem to get rid of the sickness. I think we just continuously pass it amongst ourselves. Hopefully soon the entire family will be feeling as right as rain.

Sometimes during the winter months here in Canada it can get brutally cold. This is why I always make sure that my family is stocked up on volcom clothing. These types of clothing products are so perfect for our cold climate during these months. They are made with the very best materials and they are probably the sturdiest types of clothing out on the market. So, with the Santa Clause parade coming to our area tomorrow night, you can bet my family will be well protected just in case it is an extremely cold night.

In today’s busy world, a lot of people are neglecting their very basic health issues. They just don’t seem to have the time to eat right, exercise properly or go to the doctor’s to make sure that everything is in working order. One area that frequently gets overlooked is the colon. This is a very important area of the bodies system and should not be overlooked. It is very important that a person has a colon cleanse on a regular basis. I have heard of too many people who have had problems in this area and I can’t stress enough how important it is to look after this area.

As you all know, I posted earlier this week that my daughter is now sick. It’s been a very long week. She has been home from school all week long due to this sickness. Well I thought she had the flu but last night I took her to the doctor to confirm my diagnosis. Once again, I was way off the mark. She has phenomena. Poor little thing. She now has medicine and hopefully within the next couple of days she will start to feel better again. The doctor told her that she has to stay in bed for the next week to get better. I guess we will see if that happens (not!). But, he did tell her if she was feeling better by Saturday night she could still go to the Santa Clause parade. This made her happy. So, she is being a good girl today and laying down so that she will feel better by Saturday so she will be able to go see Santa.
Now, if I could only get rid of my laryngitis, we will all be good as new again. But, as long as the kids are better, I can deal with not talking for awhile. I’m sure my husband and kids will be able to as well. lol
