I couldn’t do it!

Today I took my daughter to get her hair cut with the idea that I was going to get the back of her hair cut quite short.  You really need to see this kid’s hair.  It is right down to her bottom.  She probably has the nicest hair that I’ve ever seen on anybody.  That is why it’s so difficult for me to get it cut.  That and the fact that she has never gotten the back of her hair cut, just trimmed and she is nine.

So, down the road we went.  When we got into the hairdressers, I chickened out.  I asked the hairdresser to trim the back and to cut her bangs.  So, she still has her long beautiful hair and I honestly don’t think that is going to change any time soon.  I’m really starting to think that the only way she will end up with short hair is when she is old enough to make the decision herself.

    I have a 5 year old daughter who has long curly brown hair. When it is wet (straight) it comes to her waist. I did the exact same thing 2 weeks ago and then chickened out and had it layered instead with long layers to help the curls out a bit. I don’t think I can ever cut that beautiful hair short so I will continue to spend 10 to 20 minutes on it every morning - ugh!
