Lifes Like That

I swear I spend more time shopping for pants for my husband than I ever do for the two kids combined. Last night he came home from work claiming that he needs anther new pair of pants as the ones he was wearing were getting a little tight. He won’t admit it, but he has put on a lot of weight over the winter months. So either we go out and purchase more new pants for him or I start giving him some hoodia pills. Since he won’t take medication very often, I’m thinking that we are probably going to need to purchase him some new pants.

Usually on the weekends my husband is pretty nice to me and lets me sleep in. Since I have to get up so early in the morning during the week, and stay up, he tries to do this nice thing for me on the weekends. Unfortunately this morning I didn’t get to sleep in very long as the sun was beating through my window and it woke me up quite early. Now if I had of bought the roller shades for my bedroom window like I wanted to, I wouldn’t have had this problem. It’s suppose to be really sunny tomorrow as well, so tonight before I go to bed I’m going to try to remember to put a blanket on the window and maybe I will be able to sleep in tomorrow morning.

As some of you may know, my family is seriously into camping.  Last year was the first time that we were ever really able to get into it, but as it turned out, our family was made for camping.  We bought a small pop up trailer and spent almost every weekend running the roads to different campsites.  We finally found one that we just love and we ended up spending most of the summer at that particular park.

So, with the camping season right around the corner, we have decided to purchase a new camper for this coming summer season.  We are looking at purchasing a regular camper and setting it up in the park as seasonal campers.  This weekend is the annual RV show in our area and we are headed out there shortly to see what is new in the RVing world.  Hopefully by the end of the day we will be able to find something that we like and can afford and we will be that much closer to our camping experience for this year and many more to come.
