My husband gets so annoyed with me at times. I can’t seem to leave the furniture in one place. I usually rearrange my living room once a month as I get tired of looking at the same old set up each and every day. If it were up to him the living room would stay the same for the next 100 years. But not me. So I have decided over the next few days I will be completely rearranging the living room. No piece of furniture will go untouched. Not even the speaker mount. But I’ll have to do all this work while he is at work or he will try his hardest to talk me out of it. Once it’s completed and he arrives home, there not much he can do about it except complain. And..I just tune that out.

After nine months my father in law is finally moving forward. He has decided to put his house up for sale and already has an appraisal done. After the sale of his house he will then buy a smaller mini home and have a little extra cash left over. With his extra money from the sale of the house, he has been checking out different activities that he could possibly get involved in like taking some cruises. I think this is a wonderful idea. He has spent his entire life making money to pay for this house and now it’s time to reap the rewards and enjoy life. He seems a whole lot happier now that he has finally made the decision to put up his house and have a little fun in life and I couldn’t be happier for him.

As it stands right now I’m not really sure if we will be headed out to the campsite this weekend or not. The weather man is calling for a little bit of rain over the next couple of days. Right now it’s cloudy but very very humid. We do have a pop up camper trailer so if it does rain we won’t get wet so we might just bite the bullet and head on out. The kids have expressed their interest in this little venture and the rain doesn’t bother them so I guess it shouldn’t bother us either. I don’t mind camping in the rain, but I do despise camping in the cold. But since it’s very hot and humid that wouldn’t be a factor in whether we go or not. I’ll be sure to let you all know what our final decision turns out to be.

I have held a lot of different jobs over the years with my last one being a waitress for almost seven years. And although I enjoyed the work immensely, I don’t have any plans in returning to that field when I go to look for another job. I am always up for a challenge and really enjoy learning new things, so I think my next career move will go into a different direction. Lately I have been thinking that I may like to become an IT professional. Over the past few years this industry has experience an amazing amount of growth as far as job prospects. To become involved in this field, I would not only be able to make the type of money that I really desire, but I would also get to be very involved in a fast and ever changing environment.
One of the first steps that I have taken in this area is to check out exactly what would be required of me to get a Cisco certification for this industry. By checking out this site, I have come to determine that Cisco is the best arena for me to pursue in my certification. I would start out learning all about entry level positions and when I was ready I could then move onto the more advanced positions. Because of their detailed lessons in the IT industry I would always have the chance for career growth if this was something that I wanted.
They say your never to old to learn new things, and with the help of The Cisco Learning Network, I’m more than positive I could achieve all my dreams and goals that I have set for myself. On their site I have read some amazing testimonials from people regarding the courses and their experiences with it. As I have never taken any formal training in this type of industry, I know the work could be difficult for me. But I am always up for a challenge and I love to experience new experiences. So I plan to look into this a little more carefully and hopefully by the time I’m ready to embark on my new career, I will have the necessary knowledge and skills to make this career a huge success.

I can’t believe how fast time flies. It’s hard to believe that it’s been an entire week since the kids finished school. This summer I enrolled them both in a summer art camp. They go to camp for four weeks out of the summer and they just finished their first week. They had such a blast. Daniel really wasn’t too keen on attending and I’m pretty sure that the only reason why he agreed to go was because his sister was going. But now he is glad that he went. He had great fun this past week, met some new friends and can’t wait to attend for the other three weeks. They don’t go next week, but then they do go for the following three. I really hope they enjoy their next three weeks just as much as they did this week. I’m sure they will.

Now that I’ve started making a few sales from my home crafted jewelry, I have been thinking about what I want to buy with this extra money. Yeah, I know I should probably save it or use it to buy stuff for the kids, but what I really want is some new office furniture. I know it will take me quite a while to save up enough money for some good pieces, but I’m willing to wait until I get all the money I need even before thinking about making any purchases. I look at any income that comes from the sale of jewelry as extra money so I wouldn’t be taking any “regular income” out of our pockets to make these purchases. Oh well, now I need money so I need to get off this computer and get creating.

Tuesday is Canada day here in Canada. And on Canada day our town has lots of fun and activities for the entire family to get with. So we are planning on taking the children to the Canada celebrations at our local beach. There will be games and contests as well as a barbecue and then later on they will have their annual fireworks. Because we live so close to the festivities, we won’t need to book a room at one of the laughlin hotels or any other hotels. When the festivities end we can hop right in our car and be back home within fifteen minutes. This is the first year that we will ever participate in these events and the kids are really looking forward to it.

With the weekend fast approaching, my thoughts are once again geared towards the campsite. But I honestly don’t think it’s going to happen this weekend. My husband has to work Saturday morning. Which means that we couldn’t leave until after dinner. And the weatherman is calling for rain on Saturday and Sunday. Camping in the rain is not my idea of a fun time. So I may just have to find something else to do this weekend with the kids. But those things happen and you got to roll with the punches. Having said that, I am still hoping that the weatherman is pulling a funny one and the sun will come out beaming. If this does happen, then we will definitely pack up and head out as soon as my husband gets home from work.
I’ll let you all know how this goes.

We live in a trailer park and I really got to tell you all that I absolutely hate living here. Maybe that is why I am constantly at my husband to move. Not only do we have some seriously snotty neighbors with bad kids, but the park owners won’t let us have anything fun in our yard for the kids. They are not allowed to have a pool (not even a wader) so they can’t have any pool toys either. I don’t think this is right as we pay our lot rent every month so we should be able to have anything we want on the lot. They claim to reason for this is because of the water consumption, but were not even allowed to have a pool even if we bring in our own water. I can’t wait until we get our own house with our own land so the kids can have their pool.

This afternoon my husband is getting off work early so he can go and pick up our brand new 2008 camping trailer. Yeah!! The kids only have a half a day of school (final day of school for the year) so when he gets home and they get home we are going to pack up the trailer and take off to the campsite. The weather is extremely gorgeous out today and is suppose to be this nice for tomorrow as well. So not only do we get to break in the new camper, but it will be a great weekend to do it. I don’t know if we will end up staying tomorrow night as well. We will just have to see how the weekend goes. So I want to wish you all a super weekend and I’ll see you all around next week to let you know how the camping experience worked out this weekend.
