I have to tell you all that enrolling in Entrecard was probably one of the best moves that I could have made for this blog. I have received so much traffic from this program that I am still extremely pleased to be a member. So because of all your continued visits and drops this blog is really moving in the direction that I want it to. So at this time I would like to take this opportunity to thank my top droppers for the month of September. I really do appreciate all your visits and I look forward to seeing you all again in here in the coming months.

Just this morning I read on one of the forums that I frequent that the Google page rank is updating again. This wasn’t suppose to take place until the end of October so I’m wondering if it has really started or if some people’s ranks are just fluctuating right now? Have you seen any movement in your sites yet?
Currently I have a few blogs on the go and I have checked out each and everyone of them and haven’t seen a change in any of them. I’m really hoping that some of my sites go up this update, but it won’t be the end of the world if they don’t. So anybody here seen any changes yet or know if Google is indeed updating the page ranks at this moment?

I have a question for you all. When you see a celebrity on TV endorsing a product, do you really believe they actually have tried the product and really did find it effective or do you think that they are only in it for the money. Whether it be an endorsement for acne treatment or sneakers do you find they are believable? I realize that companies go with this type of advertisement to get the products known better to the general population and with the amount of celebrity endorsements I think this method probably does work. But really, how gullible do they think consumers are? Just because Jessica Simpson says so I’m going to run out and by this product?? No I don’t think so. I’d rather buy a product that has been recommended by the common man.
Are you like me or do you really believe in these types of endorsements?

It’s been quite a few years since my husband has had to go out of town for his job. Well the time has come again. Next month he will be headed out of the country for a week to take a training course on some type of machinery. Thankfully this doesn’t happen too often but when it does the kids get extremely upset. Mainly because he won’t be here to kiss them good night.
In previous years we warned them well in advance that he had to go and they seemed to be OK with it. That was until they seen the luggage sitting in the hallway. Then I think it hit them that this is really happening. So this time we haven’t said a word to them about it. When there is about a week left before he has to go then we will tell them. And at no time will they see his luggage. Hopefully because they are older they will take the news about this trip a little better than they have previously. But only time will tell I guess.

I really do love blogging. Almost two years ago I set up my first blog and I have never looked back. One of my most favorite parts about blogging is receiving comments. I love to hear what people think about my site and what they think about things that I write. But one of the things that I really hate about blogging is some of the nasty comments that I receive from other bloggers. It hasn’t happened in a while on any of my sites, but just the other day I was browsing some blogs and seen a seriously nasty comment on someone else’s blog.
They were discussing Google page rank and the fact that theirs got dropped from a three to a zero. They seemed to be quite upset about this and one commenter slammed them big time over it. First they stated that they shouldn’t care about page rank and then slammed them for doing paid reviews. Honestly who’s business is it if someone does paid reviews on their blogs?? I do paid reviews on some blogs and since their my blogs, it’s my own choice. And yes, I have lost page rank because of it. But it doesn’t bother me any more. If it bothers others then that’s their prerogative.
I don’t understand why people can’t be nice. Just because were on the Internet and you can’t see us doesn’t mean the nastiness should come out. At least that’s my point of view.

So I’ve mentioned before that I am going to try something new to try to advertise my small home crafting business. So last week I ordered some customized magnets to be able to give out to family and friends. The order will take anywhere from four to six weeks to come in but they should be here just in time for the holiday craft season. Up until now I haven’t spent a dollar on advertising, but my sales aren’t as high as I would like them to be so I have decided that it may be worth it to spend a few dollars in advertising to get my message out there. Hopefully this works. If it does, then I will have no problem spending any other money on different advertising methods. I have to do something, I have to start selling more than I have been.

Well it was a sad day in the Darrell household here on Sunday. Sunday was the day that we chose to clean out the trailer and get it all packed up for the winter. When this day happens, this marks the end of the summer camping season officially. So I packed up all the utensils and coolers. They will be stored in the camper over the winter months. Inside I pack away all the swimwear from the past season. When all these items get put away you then realize that the camping season is indeed over. Oh well at least we all get to look forward to next year. But there was sure a lot of sad faces around our house this past Sunday.

Finally all my eating has paid off. lol I know this sounds a little strange to you all so I’ll try to explain. All my life I’ve been underweight. I have tried without success to gain weight. My doctor has told me that for my height, I should weigh around 110 lbs. Well except when I was pregnant, I have never even come close. Well over the weekend I had myself weighed and I am so happy to report that I am now 111 lbs. Yay! I have been eating like crazy these days to try to put this weight on. If this sounds like eating is a chore to me, then your right. I really don’t like eating and there isn’t many foods that I enjoy either. But for the past few months I have been forcing myself to eat whether I want to or not. And now it’s starting to pay off. Now if I can only figure out how to keep this weight on, I’ll be one happy person.

Friday night I went out to dinner with a couple of my friends. We try to do this at least once a month. Both of the girls that I had dinner with are on diets. Well the conversation at the dinner table turned to weight loss and the many different products that now available on the market to help with weight loss. I was really surprised when these two girls got into a seriously heated discussion about the question of does orovo work? I really had nothing to add to the conversation as I’ve never been on a diet in my life. But it did surprise me how passionate each one was with their own views. If I ever needed to go on a diet, I now know all the ins and outs about orovo and other products. I just wished they hadn’t decided to argue about it during dessert.

One of the most important things in an adult’s life is to have a good credit score. Having a good credit score will enable a person to be able to make large purchases on credit.
