I know a lot of kids that I take care of have a hard time getting used to their teachers and actually liking them. Well I guess it depends on the child and the teacher. Glad you son got a break and likes his teacher. How you view your teacher definitely affects how you do in that class. I had the meanest teacher ever in 4th grade and that was just a nightmare. I hated school at that point, all because of the teacher! The teacher really has a lot of influence and makes a world of difference in a student's attitude.
