Well it seems to me like the more you make, the more you spend. For the past year and a half I have gone without a regular paycheck and it didn’t seem to hurt the family’s finances all that much. Now that I’m back to work and earning a regular paycheck it seems like my paycheck is always pretty much gone before I have gotten it. Tomorrow I get another paycheck and yes by the time I’m done it’s all going to be all gone. I have to go out and purchase my son a cap to finish up his Halloween costume, I have to pay both the kids student fees and I need to pay my daughter’s violin fee as well. Oh well. That’s why I went back to work. To help out with the household expenses.

I have to tell you that I couldn’t be any more pleased with myself now that I have switched hosting companies. For a little over a year I had been with Bluehost, but during the past six months I began to experience a lot of trouble with them. Every once in a while my sites (all of them) would go down. When I contacted support to inquire about my problems I was always told the site was down for maintenance. One day my site was down for over nine hours. Well as a paid blogger that relies on having my site up and running each day, this situation was entirely unacceptable.
So I started asking around to see where a reliable host could be found. Someone recommended Hostgator and now all my sites are hosted through them. I don’t really know how good Hostgator is, but I guess time will tell. And after hearing about other people’s ongoing problems with Bluehost, I am more than thankful I switched when I did. This site is still having problems and if my sites were still hosted with them, I could have been affected as well. A little down time is very normal, but when it starts to interfere with my day to day activities then I know it’s time for a change.
