As you all know I just went back to my former place of employment about a month ago. When I worked there before I was employed as the assistant manager and worked most of my shifts in the dining room as a waitress. This time (because of babysitter issues) I ended up going back as the kitchen supervisor and working in the kitchen. Since I went back I have really really missed being in the dining room and waiting on the customers.
Well funny thing happened last night. I went to work in the kitchen, but when I got there NONE of the waitresses wanted to wait on customers. So of course I offered to take the tables as long as they went in the kitchen and made the food. They agreed to this and last night, for the first time in well over a year, I got to wait on customers. I had a blast in the dining room and the customers seemed to enjoy it as well. Now that I’ve been back out front and remembered how much fun I used to have, I am going to look a little harder for a babysitter so I can go out front more often.

Well it seems to me like the more you make, the more you spend. For the past year and a half I have gone without a regular paycheck and it didn’t seem to hurt the family’s finances all that much. Now that I’m back to work and earning a regular paycheck it seems like my paycheck is always pretty much gone before I have gotten it. Tomorrow I get another paycheck and yes by the time I’m done it’s all going to be all gone. I have to go out and purchase my son a cap to finish up his Halloween costume, I have to pay both the kids student fees and I need to pay my daughter’s violin fee as well. Oh well. That’s why I went back to work. To help out with the household expenses.

I have to tell you that I couldn’t be any more pleased with myself now that I have switched hosting companies. For a little over a year I had been with Bluehost, but during the past six months I began to experience a lot of trouble with them. Every once in a while my sites (all of them) would go down. When I contacted support to inquire about my problems I was always told the site was down for maintenance. One day my site was down for over nine hours. Well as a paid blogger that relies on having my site up and running each day, this situation was entirely unacceptable.
So I started asking around to see where a reliable host could be found. Someone recommended Hostgator and now all my sites are hosted through them. I don’t really know how good Hostgator is, but I guess time will tell. And after hearing about other people’s ongoing problems with Bluehost, I am more than thankful I switched when I did. This site is still having problems and if my sites were still hosted with them, I could have been affected as well. A little down time is very normal, but when it starts to interfere with my day to day activities then I know it’s time for a change.

I have heard about espresso, but until today had never heard the capresso. So me being the curious being I am, I had to go look it up on the Internet to see what this word was referring to. Imagine my surprise when I discovered it’s a name of a coffee making company and not a type of flavor of coffee. I thought I was going to be able to start ordering a new type of coffee or espresso. Oh well at least I am now aware of another brand of coffee maker should the need ever come up again. And knowing me the need will arise as I normally go through about three coffee makers a year and right now I am only on coffee maker number two.

Wow you can sure tell it’s that time of year again now can’t you. The time of year that I just happen to be talking about would be the acne season. While I was blog hopping today I noticed quite a few people posting about acne problems and products and have noticed that a lot of them are complaining that their acne is acting up because of the colder and drier temperatures. This is exactly what happens to me. When it gets colder and the climate gets drier my acne comes out in full force. Well it’s upsetting to see so many people inflicted with the same problems as I have but it’s also nice to know that I’m not alone in this world.
