Are their any Hostgator experts in the house??

I have a problem. For almost a week now I have been trying to start up a new blog. I have decided on a name and have even set up the blog through my Hostgator account. I have even paid the domain registration fee as well. Well, I have a problem. Although the blogs name is indeed listed in my cpanel this particular blog gets a 404 error when I click on the link. I was told I needed to change my name servers and I did this as well. But…I still can’t get this blog up and running.

Any ideas?? Anyone??

    That’s a tough one, because it could be so many things. Have you installed Wordpress on it yet? Does Hostgator have a dummy index.php file (some hosts have some that say “under construction”) that you need to replace? Sometimes it takes a few days for the new domain and site to propagate.

    I’d talk to the Hostgator Help people. I have heard tha they are pretty good.
