Lifes Like That

So…were you all like me and seriously pigged out this past holiday season? Well here is a re-cap of all I devoured during the past week. Two turkey dinners (yeah, I cooked one), a huge Chinese buffet style meal, left overs from the Chinese meal, candy, chocolates, peanut butter balls, chocolate marshmallow squares, fruit cake, cherry balls and…..well….you get the picture. It’s a real good thing that I am slim by nature or I would have probably had to invest in a corset or two to disguise my holiday eating. Oh well…Christmas and New years only come once a year, so what the heck.

It’s January 2009 already. Wow how time flies when your having fun! Well it’s time once again to thank all you kind folks who have stopped by this blog on a regular basis and dropped your Entrecards. Although I haven’t dropped very much lately from this blog (real life got in the way), I do appreciate each and every drop from you guys! So…here ya go! Thanks goes out to my top droppers for the month of December. And…I promise to get better at dropping my card on your site in the near future.

My daughter is ten now and I have to tell you all that she looks up some pretty strange things on the Internet. Not bad things mind you, just strange things for a ten year old to be curious about. Last night while we were spending a very quiet new year’s eve at home she got on the Internet. At one point I looked over and seen that she was on a site which was discussing Pomegranate trees. I asked her why was she on this particular site and she claimed that she just stumbled upon it and it looked interesting so she started looking at it. What ever happened to kid’s games I wonder?

Well she is back on the computer right now so I think I need to go see what other little treasures she has found.
