My youngest son really does believe that I can do anything. Next week, during art class they are going to be making some homemade rubber stamps. And he volunteered my services to help out his class. He informed the teacher that I make all sorts of crafts so it would be a good idea if I came in and helped. So yesterday she called me and asked for my assistance. When I informed her that I have clue how to make rubber stamps (that’s one craft I don’t do) she started laughing and asked if I would come in anyway to supervise. Well, I’m good at that so I told her I would. My son really wanted me there, so I guess next week I will be able to learn how to make rubber stamps along with the rest of the class.

For those who know me personally, this post is going to come as a great shock to you all. This morning (7:10 am to be exact) I ended up having to WALK the kids to the bus stop. The reason why this is so shocking, is because of the fact that I NEVER walk. Seriously, if I can’t take my car, I don’t go. I know this sounds very lazy and unhealthy, but this is me.
Now on to the reason why I had to do this shocking deed. Yesterday we got hit with a massive snow storm. And although my husband and my youngest son shoveled the driveway, they did not shovel around my car and I couldn’t get it out of the driveway. Oh…I tried, but the darn thing wouldn’t budge. So I had two choices. One…walk the kids to the bus stop or two…have them home all day. Well…there is only one other thing that I detest more in life than walking and that would be to have the kids home on a day when their supposed to be in school. LOL Decision was made quite quickly actually. And down the road we went.
