Lifes Like That

On one of my other blogs, I tend to do a lot of product reviews. I have been approached by one of our local grocery stores to participate in these reviews. Although I don’t get any cash for these reviews, I have gotten a lot of cool products to test out and to keep. Even though these products are free, I still do an honest review on the product. If I don’t care for it, I will tell my readers about it. A couple of weeks ago I was asked to do a slimming pills review but I had to turn it down as I have no real need for this type of product. I am slim enough and if I started taking these pills, I might slim down to nothing. So there is a limit to what I will review as well. If I have no need for the product, or am not interested in the product, I won’t do the review. But, I do really enjoy doing these reviews and have gotten to keep a lot of cool products.

Lately I have been pretty slack when it comes to updating my blogs. But, not any more. I have a renewed energy when it comes to updating my blogs. I have been posting a lot more regularly on my blogs than in the past and over the next couple of days I plan on cleaning up the blogs looks themselves. Normally I get in a little funk when it comes to blogging and that is what happened to me last month.

But, I’m back on track with a renewed vengeance. And, you will see me a whole lot more over the next few weeks. Man, it’s great to be out of my funk!

We all have dreams and goals in life now don’t we?? Well one of my dreams in life is to go on some Caribbean cruises. I would love to be able to take a cruise of any kind before my time on earth is over. But, my husband does not share the same dream. He has absolutely no interest in going on any cruises and I have absolutely no interest in going on one all by myself. So this dream is kind of dead in the water (pardon the pun) before it ever starts. But hopefully when the time is right, we can both decide on a perfect vacation that both of us will enjoy. Who knows, maybe over time I will talk him into taking a cruise after all.

Well my husband and I have decided that this is the summer when we are going to put a serious move on possibly purchasing a new home. The first thing we need to do is to look into debt consolidation to possibly lower our monthly payments and then we will apply for a pre-approved mortgage. When we find out how much we can spend or if we even qualify for a mortgage, then we will put a serious push on finding a house. We will also need to try to sell our trailer as well. But we could use the proceeds from the trailer as our down payment so we should have a pretty easy time with getting a mortgage. Finger’s crossed that this all works out the way we want it to.

Well I’d like to tell you all that I’ve finally got my groove back. For a couple of months now I haven’t been doing any crafting or jewelry creations and I have to say that I’ve really missed it. But last week I finally got my craft room all situated and started creating jewelry again. I was able to make three necklaces and three pairs of earrings. It’s not much right now, but it’s a start. I’m going to create more and then I’m going to try to start to sell them again. I don’t have any pictures right now as I have no batteries for my camera. But, when I get the batteries I will be sure to pop back in here and give you all a peak of what I’ve been up to lately. If all goes well I plan on making more this week and hopefully soon I will be ready to start advertising my creations.

Last week I applied to a company for what I thought was a transcription job. Well much to my surprise I got offered the job, but it wasn’t quite what I thought it would be. As it turned out this job was not a transcription job, but was in fact a insurance lead generation job. Now this type of work is definitely not for me. So I guess I will have to e-mail these people back and say thanks but no thanks. I really have no clue how I could have made such a big mistake. I guess next time I will have to read the fine print a little more carefully. Too bad though as this would have been some pretty steady money coming in.

Seriously folks, this situation is getting completely out of control. We either need to move and get a bigger driveway or we need to get rid of a few pieces of machinery. Right now we live in a trailer park, so we have a really small driveway. This is great when it comes time for shoveling, but not so great when we need to have the room to park all the vehicles in our driveway that we have. Right now we have two cars (his and hers. lol), a snowmobile, his work truck and a utility trailer. That is what is currently in our driveway. On our lawn is our camping trailer as we have no room to put it in the driveway. My husband keeps coming home with things that need to go in the driveway and now I’m getting a little scared. Hopefully he doesn’t haul any car lifts home or we are going to be in some serious trouble.

So now you know why we need to move. We really do need more more or he is just going to have to stop purchasing things.

I have put in a long five days. The kids have been home from school since Thursday and although they haven’t been majorly bad, there has been a lot of fighting. These two kids really need to be in school. I really do think they miss the structure, routine and their friends. But, if I can get through the next 24 hours, they will be back on the school bus. I have to wonder though, that if five days of having them at home drives me crazy, what’s going to happen when their home for two months this summer. Well, I guess I’ll have to have a lot of Advil on hand for that time in our lives.

So as you can see, I really haven’t been posting that much lately. This is because I have been working a lot outside of the home lately and also because I have been slowly building up a home transcription career. So far I have one private client and have been accepted to work for a company as well. Then last night I received an invitation to test for another company as well. So, I have been working pretty steadily doing transcription. It seems like (for now) I really don’t have the time to be able to manage both transcription and blogging. But, I’m hoping that when I finally find my correct groove, I will be able to manage both. So, bare with me, I do plan on posting more. It’s just taking me a little longer to find my way than I had originally thought it would.
